Request a Group Day at the ReStore
Our ReStores take in donations of used furniture and reusable/recyclable construction and home remodeling materials, and then sell them to the general public. All proceeds go directly to help benefit our home building projects throughout St. Louis. ReStore volunteers can take on any number of tasks, such as helping to unload large donations, basic customer assistance, and helping to clean and sort materials.
All volunteers must be 16 years of age or older. Volunteer groups can range from 5-10 people. We can sometimes accommodate larger groups, but this may limit the available dates. We ask groups to commit to a minimum of 4 hours. Both ReStores are open year-round, with the exception of major holidays (see below for hours and locations).
To request a day at the ReStore, please email Volunteer Services at volunteers@habitatstl.org with the following information:
- Group Name
- Group Leader (including phone and email)
- Location Preference (Des Peres, South Side, or no preference)
- Number of volunteers
- Up to 3 Requested Dates (including times)
Both ReStores are open Tuesday-Sunday, 10:00am-6:00pm. We schedule on a first-come, first-served basis.
